SDL libraries are updated to v. 1.2.15, SDL_image libraries and headers
to v. 1.2.12. SDL headers were updated to v.1.2.15 earlier, in commit
78e1621e52 .
also stripped assaultcube.sh, server.sh and install_or_remove_menuitem.sh
of unnecessary or just wrong stuff
added script to generate checksum file packages/misc/checksums_md5.txt,
which is used by check_install.sh to look for missing and modified files
Earlier was, for example, such negative effect, that when player had AR
and more than 3 shots in a row and died, then after spawn he saw
for a moment bigger crosshair (if he didn't turn off this default effect).
This reverts commit 60eb0ac393.
There is possible to turn off a scope by weapon changing (however
behaviour of scope during intermission can be changed in "next" branch).
Commit shows time in format mm:ss in scoreboard, instead of
"X minutes remaining" info.
It also enables the clock default on the HUD and adds "clockcount"
variable which let to choose between counting forward or backward
in the clocks.

Fixes:
1. show time remaining in system console after each minute;
2. correct form of minute(s);
3. show info "everyone died!" instead of "team SPECTATOR has won
the round!" in demo mode;
4. show correct info to which team (name) was player forced, when player1
is spectator.
For spectatepersistent = 1 that is always enabled (that means, that
spectated player isn't changed after his death), for 0 - only in
non-arena modes, except of demos.
"if(!available.length()) return f;" is introduced, in order to, in arena
modes, doesn't happen switching to SM_FLY, when last alive players dies
in the same moment and there is no winner of the round.
Before if you watched player from the first spectating position
(SM_FOLLOW1ST), and that player disconnected, then you switched
automatically to another player, but also to second spectating position
(SM_FOLLOW3RD), instead of stay in SM_FOLLOW1ST - this commit fixes that.
The commit:
1. fixes value of download speed in KB;
2. introduces unique names of progress_callback() functions;
3. removes one unnecessary write_callback() function;
4. removes duplicated code/info in loadmodel().
Updates project (for OS X) to SDL v1.2.15.
Possible issues:
- SDL_SetGamma seems to be bugged? If a user is having issues have them do /gamma 100 and restart AC
- ???
- provide a function to easily assemble and execute the command
- context-selective execution of hooks
- restrict potentially exploitable or harmful hooks to singleplayer-modes
Alternative views in the serverbrowser are implemented with use favourites.
Categories (names) of favourite servers, which will be displayed on the
views, have to be included in "serverbrowseraltviews" alias (accessible
in menu).
Switching between views is possible with use Alt + Mouse wheel and
Alt + Up/Down (or eventually "[" and "]", if they are dedicated keys
on your keyboard).
The commit also:
1. adds MATCH category to favourites;
2. shows category name in settings of favourites;
3. shows weights in serverbrowser instead of favourites image,
when showweights = 1;
4. cleans up some tabs.
Commit fixes broken "gonext" command, among other things reading time
from maprot, and it does random result of this command.
It also removes get_next() function, because it messes up the maprot,
so shouldn't be used.
Renames the existing saved.cfg to saved-old-1.cfg (and an existing -1 to
-2, and so on) before the new saved.cfg is written.
This should help in cases where players mess up their config, because the
config is deleted with a five-game-starts delay.
This reverts commit 5450296879.
I don't know, why the code was changed before, but that caused, that images
in menu weren't transparent, for example image of favourites in
the serverbrowser.
Until now, the angles of mapmodels (and ctf-flags) were rounded to the
nearest 15-degree-step during rendering. This patch moves the rounding
to the time of placement of the model. Now the angle can be changed freely
after the model has been placed.
This commit also changes the angle resolution to 0.25 degree.
When changing the angle (press "1" + scrollwheel), additionally pressing
editmeta (a.k.a. LCTRL) changes the increments of the wheel from 1 to 10.
During a savemap with format 9, the angle resolution is reduced again, to
keep compatibility. Therefore, this features is only for testing right now.
It won't be preserved during a save (at least, as long as format 9 is used)
The logfile can't be created before the commandline arguments are parsed,
because before that, the home directory is unknown. This patch logs
into a memory buffer which is then copied to the logfile as soon as
the logfile is created after processing the commandline arguments.
The memory buffer is created during the initialisation of global variables,
and destroyed after the logfile is created.
This new feature reads a list of config files from a zip file named
config/configtemplates.zip and checks each file, if it is already
existing in the game's search path. If it can not be found, it will
be created in the user's home dir (where saved.cfg gets written).
Before this, the config files were installed with the rest of the game,
and if the user customised any of the files, he most likely did not move
the file to his personal directory first. A re-install in the same place
would then overwrite the customised file.
This feature creates the files where they will usually not be overwritten.
To use the feature, before packaging the game, the files
config/autoexec.cfg
config/favourites.cfg
config/pcksources.cfg
have to be archived into a zip file
config/configtemplates.zip
The zip file should not contain directories. It should not be checked
into git. The original single config files should not be distributed
with the package.
