Allows to reset notexture, to set a high-contrast color to find and
fix the areas and to set to a useful default texture.
As useful textures, in addition to rock.jpg and concrete.jpg, the menu
lists the default wall, floor and ceiling textures of the current map,
and also the last watched texture from the texture menu.
Also adds a few checks to detect unconverted map config files and misuse
of the new bright highlight textures.
replaced by makke/rock.jpg, which is the base for the "missing content"
texture - so, only the text is missing...
on outpost, notexture was reset (since there's no use for it on official
maps)
also add script to generate a summary map license file
new (undocumented) debug commands:
loadmap <mapname>
loads a map directly, easy to use from scripts
debugline <filename> <text>
writes text to file (no path names allowed)
* strip unused mapmodel, texture and sound slots from config files
* clip stair mapmodels with sloped clip entities
* remove double clipping
dev_douze has been replaced by a version from the AC 1.0 era, including
flag bases - but with no team spawns. Corners now utilise higher mips
where possible.
dev_stellar has not been optimised.
* renamed (temporarily) to dev_*
* embedded all config files
* changed as many clip entities to tagged clips as possible
On ac_toxic and ac_venison all other clip entities also have been
optimised. Some bugs and unnecessary quirks on venison have been removed.
* toxic now uses 135 clipped entities (instead of 221)
* venison now uses 115 clipped entities (instead of 393)
This commit is incomplete: only the information from menus_edit.cfg was
transferred to model config files. There are 96 more config files to be
created...
Until now, the mapmodel used the "notexture" texture, which obviously
worked quite well, because it is grey.
Another possible "fix" would be, to just keep using "notexture" and
instead delete skin.jpg.
This fix affects seven current official maps.
The file packages/models/playermodels/RVSF/07_Blue-Red.psd had a filesize
of over nine megabyte - and was of no use to the game. It made all recent
game packages 9MB bigger than they had to be. That's about the size of
all game textures combined...
If someone still needs the file, check it out from an older commit.
